Art Loss Register

Unbolted is working in collaboration with the Art Loss Register (ALR)

Art Loss Register (ALR) is the world’s largest private, international database of stolen, missing and looted art, antiques and collectibles – to ensure that all assets offered for loan are checked for clear title.

Katya Hills, who works with clients of the ALR that provide loans against art, watches and other assets, is pleased to begin working with Unbolted: ‘By searching items for Unbolted against the ALR database we hope to assist their clients in proving good title, which helps demonstrate the value of their assets and their ability to sell at a future date.’

Clients of Unbolted who may themselves have suffered a loss are encouraged to register it on the ALR database to maximise their chances of recovery. Items can be registered even several years after the theft, and remain on the database until they are recovered.
